JESS LEBLANC
Psychosocial educator, trauma informed coach, speaker, yoga + Meditation teacher, experiential education and leadership facilitator. Jess' work aims to foster and enhance skills such as self awareness and regulation, emotional literacy, stress + burn out prevention / management, cognitive flexibility, improved nervous system response, resilience, empathy, relationship building, effective communication and listening as well as enhancing self efficacy and personal capacity.
Describing herself as “a connection catalyst,” Jess inspires others to build a healthy connection and interaction between the mind and body – two equally important entities in the pursuit of true health. She believes in uncovering the root cause of illness, and emphasizes a collaborative and individualized partnership with patients and clients, while navigating them towards improved health, energy, and vitality.
As the Embodied Living founder, she creates wellness experiences for people to help them honour their most purposeful self and learn tools to live and lead a meaningful life.
SYDNEY STARKO
I’m Sydney...and I’m REALLY curious... I want to know the why and how of almost everything, and I’m ESPECIALLY curious about what is going on with our bio/psycho/social anatomy...this is the foundation of my practice.
I create space- literally through bodywork and movement, and figuratively via exploration the mind/body connection. I have a deep appreciation for science and I also have an innate knowing that there are mysteries in our selves that are real despite quantifiable evidence.
My passion lies in a middle way, in bridging East/West/North/South philosophies of health and wellness BECAUSE I believe whole heartedly that traditional and modern methods of healing can and should meet in the centre.
I come to the Embodied Living team to TEACH from my curiosities, education, research, trainings, mentors, experiences, AND over a decade as a RMT & Yogi. My goal is to inspire you into exploring your world (inside and out), and to support you while you make the connections necessary to be HOME in your body and in FLOW with your life.
